The manufacturing process of BioCarbon Worktops helps to build a sturdy and impact-resistant kitchen surface. The core of the material is made of sheets of kraft paper that are layered on top of each other with phenolic resins. These sheets are then sandwiched between sheets of decor paper that have been impregnated with melamine.

All of these materials are then pressed together under extreme heat and pressure for around 20 minutes and then left to cool, This leaves you with a homogenous product that will not fall apart or peel away.

Some of the decors in our range come in different finishes like pietra (PT), polished (PL), secco (SC), and cast (CA). This is embossed using metal plates on the surface of the worktop during the pressing process. This gives the worktops that unique texture.
