Kitchen design has evolved over the decades taking us from the brave, bright colours of the 60s, into the more muted neutral colours of the 90s, the emergence of the kitchen island in the 00s and now we have smart technology being integrated into our kitchens. 

The common theme across the decades is that kitchens have become more of a social hub not just an area to cook. The kitchen is now a space to host and entertain guests, to work from, spend time with family, and of course you can still do a bit of cooking here and there!
